Portal is a 3D puzzle game where your goal is solve the test chambers in Aperture Laboratories. In order to do so, you have to use the Aperture Science handheld portal device, or Portal gun for short. Along the way, you come across writings of one of the scientists, known as the rat man. The messages tell you that the cake is a lie, over and over, but you don't see his point until the near end of the game. Portal has GLaDOS put you on a path toward completing the test chambers, for science, but you don't have to listen to her if you like. This game is truly fantastic, cheap, and very fun to play. The mystery behind Aperture laboratories is unknown, but we can assume that it was abandoned after it was fled with deadly neurotoxin. Portal has suspense, mystery, puzzles, and some really cool features, inside the chambers and out. I rate this game a 9/10, and it's ending is a masterpiece.
